Hello there! - Use's of this Blog

Welcome to the Northern Lights Forest Education Society 'Blog'.

This ‘Blog’ offers us a forum to share ideas between students, community members, teachers, professionals and any other interested individuals. It is a new type of resource that has made its way to the Mackenzie Region for all to use. This is ‘blog’ similar to a chat room but with directed focus on specific issues. We can talk about Forestry, Ecology, Biology, Natural Resources, and education and anywhere the common conversation goes. We will use this as a method to boast about the activities going on in the area with students, educators, foresters and the like.

We will use this to post pictures and news and will be left open for your comments and ideas. It is completely anonymous if you wish however if you choose to make yourself known, please sign up with a ‘Blogger’ account and participate in conversation as much as you would like.

We look forward to and welcome:

  • Questions from teachers regarding resources provided by the Forest Industry and our society,
  • Possible timetables and timelines regarding field trips,
  • Ideas from students for more hosted resources from the NLFES and what they would like to see on this site,
  • Questions about what our society can do for yourself,
  • Professional commentary from industry, government and private organizations.

  • Anything else you can think of that would or could benefit other people.

We hope you find this a resource worth returning to.

Our site is moderated and inappropriate comments will not be tolerated.

Many Regards,

The Directors at the NLFES.
